Non-Travel Agent VS Travel Agent

The same amount of work goes into booking a trip for yourself OR someone else whether you’re a travel agent or not. So wouldn’t it make sense to REWARD yourself FINANCIALLY?

Aside from receiving a commission from a trip you were going to take ANYWAY; who would you call if you missed your connecting flight and it was booked online? What if you got sick and couldn't go on your trip at all; who would you call?

As a Travel Agent; you can create a package for yourself or a client to create an ultimate dream vacation. This can include airfare, hotel, and rental car or any combination that is needed. Commissions are already built into the price; hotels pay commission, rental car companies pay commissions, airlines pay commission, cruise lines pay commission. As a Travel Agent; why not re-direct those funds into YOUR wallet??
